NBCNEWS Broadcasting Leader
NBCNEWS has been the best news broadcasting division of the NBC network
for the last decade. Though it was long ago labeled as “America’s
News Leader”, NBCNEWS launched a new slogan at the beginning
of 2006.
NBCNEWS
simply announced: “Wherever you go, there we are”. The slogan
not only ran on television, but it also got top place on the radio,
the internet or on cable programs.
In July 1982, NBCNEWS broadcast the first NBCNEWS Overnight production
that was later cancelled in December 1983. However, in 1993, NBCNEWS
aired overnight shows until 1999, which is quite some history of night
news.
NBCNEWS channel resembles to a wire service as some of the stories
and news videos they air are pre-produced at a national or regional
level. NBCNEWS relies very much on the contribution of reporters who
are customized for NBC network affiliates.
