The LeavenworthTimes is the property of GateHouse Media Incorporation,
owner to more than 75 publications, newspapers and magazines. It is
a daily publication that enjoys excellent reputation in Kansas State.
The LeavenworthTimes is not published on Sundays and other national
holidays such as Christmas Day, Thanks Giving Day, New Year’s
Eve, Independence Day and a few others.
The LeavenworthTimes covers general news not only from Leavenworth,
but from the whole Kansas state and the US.
There is also a whole obituary list compiled in County Genealogical
Society and available with the LeavenworthTimes.
The Index available with the LeavenworthTimes newspaper may be a useful
resource of information on Kansas, as it was the first newspaper to
be published in Kansas.

library may prove more than helpful for those researching for family
