HammondTimes is a multicultural newsletter sent to students and University
staff, every two months through email.
The HammondTimes is used to spread news on specific programs, pertinent
information for the student community as well as possible project deadlines.
The articles are written by students and for the students.
The Department of Students Affairs that is responsible for the HammondTimes writing is open to suggestions, article submissions as well as
comments. Why was the HammondTimes necessary?
The HammondTimes is the link between the 15,600 undergraduate and
graduate students that attend the University of Miami (UM), and it works
as the perfect means to reach them all and spread news.
There is an opinion area in the HammondTimes where you can send your
point of view via email. Many students find it a great means to take
a stand and express their ideas on issues that affect us all.
